Newly discovered facts about chimpanzees’ behavior confirms that these primates are humans’ closest relatives.

Certainly female chimps have nothing to learn from the wiliest woman, according to a study by British university researchers.

They keep mum about having sex to avoid other females giving them a hard time for luring the best males.

And that’s not all. The females are lavish with their favours, calculating that, if they have lots of mates, the strongest can be persuaded that they have fathered any resulting offspring. Consequently, they will protect both mother and youngster.

Life looks promising for the chimp off the old block.

Any conclusion of similarities with the behaviour of our simian compatriots is a result of your own careful deductions.

What do you think? Similar or not…?
