Is this a start of a new trend blowing up  ATM”S across the country. Gauteng, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal lead the pack currently with most ATM’S  been blown up in mostly  black areas where these machines were newly installed. The idea was to allow these people access to money without them having to pay a small fortune to get into town. By July 2007 the number of ATM machines blown up was 280. In 2006, only 56 ATMs were blown up.

FAT BONUS FOR COUNTRY WIDE ELECTRICITY

Eskom’s top management have received substantial bonuses when the utility has failed to plan and is costing the country thousands of jobs and critical growth.

To be effective, Eskom’s top management need to do just two things:

Maintain and operate existing power stations reliably and effectively; and

Plan for future demand - the planning horizon is seven years.

They have failed the country on both counts. Power stations run out of coal, plant failures are frequent and planning doesn’t extend seven weeks, never mind seven years.

The useless  management at eishkom have decided that empowerment targets and BEE targets are more important that the delivery of electricity!
These idiots would not get work at any other power utility in the world at a level as they enjoy now because they are incompetent. After all they have proved this to us.
