Driving around Cape Town recently one only hope and prey the city council will ease up on their self enrichment policy and spent a little of the taxpayers money on cleaning the city up. At the current rate of decline Cape Town will soon be looking like Johannesburg”s inner city city and surrounding suburbs.

The west coast beaches have become a far cry from what they used to be in particularly after Langebaan. This popular beach frequented by tourists has a oil slick and the rocky areas scattered with broken glass. Walking bear foot here is totally out of the question.

Above depicts a factory waste outlet directly onto the beach. Maybe they have got away with it all this time as its well hidden amongst the rocks. Dirt and graffiti the order of the day. The homes in this area are sold for millions of rand’s. With that in mind the western Cape cash cow ( un-realistic rates increases) generates millions, yet money seems to disappear into ever increasingly deeper political pockets instead.
