Education is the key to economic survival and a stable and prosperous life. It does not matter if you are a sixteen year old apprentice plumber or a post graduate student reading for a doctorate in applied maths.

Bottom line everyone need education to advance in society otherwise society as a whole fails. Today South Africa’s education system excluding the private schools is in chaotic decline, with about 17% of school leavers achieving high enough passes to go on to university.

This in a country that has openly declared itself hostile to appointing whites with education to positions that need to be filled. The end result of this madness is going to be a failed state or at very best a state that has failed miserably to achieve its full potential.

If all the educated and skilled expats and those of the same calibre but functionally unemployed within south Africa were allowed to freely apply their knowledge to the south African economy the country would be an example to the world, of what is possible.

Sadly this is never going to be the case.
