Some months ago, Interpol voted the SA Police Service as the “best in the world”. Of course the local view of the SAPS is somewhat less flattering, and with very good reason. More than 50 % of serving officers are functionally illiterate, and the resultant bungling & incompetence is only exceeded by their incredible arrogance. Quite literally a law unto themselves, our guardians of “Law & Order” do as they please, without fear of being disciplined. Why should they be scared - the South African Police Chief is allegedly a celebrated criminal himself!

A video was taken by a shocked resident of the Western Transvaal town of Bloemhof. The Bloemhof SA Police Service arranged a “crime prevention” operation, in conjunction with neighbouring police stations. Numerous police vehicles left the assembly point at the Bloemhof police station, heading for the “crime prevention” destination. While travelling through town, these cops decided to have a little convoy fun, throwing their vehicles to & fro in a wild display of savage recklessness. They all jumped traffic lights & stop streets and almost caused some serious accidents.
